VALC named Mr. Pham Trung Hieu as President and CEO Hanoi, Feb 2012

The former CEO, Mr. Tran Long has come back to take new mission at Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) after his secondment period at VALC.

Mr. Pham Trung Hieu, before working at VALC, has been with BIDV from 1997 to 2011 in the field of project financing, investment,... and had taken many high-level management positions, such as President & CEO of Vietnam Industry and Energy Fund, Vice president of BIDV -Transaction Center No.1 and Vice president of BIDV - Hoan Kiem Branch.

According to the approval of the Vietnamese Prime Minister, VALC was founded at the end of 2007 from the ideas of the Bank for Investment and Development of Viet Nam and Vietnam Airlines Company Limited with the purpose to start-up a company specializing in purchasing aircraft and leasing to domestic and regional airlines. VALC is now leasing brand new aircraft manufactured by Airbus, Boeing and ATR.
